As the Director of Human Resources at Roosevelt Forward, Sonia manages the organization’s recruiting, onboarding, training, employee relations, performance management, benefits, and employee wellness programs.
Prior to joining Roosevelt, Sonia worked at Lenox Hill Neighborhood House as a Human Resources Generalist, Environmental Defense Fund as a Senior Benefits Manager, and at Gibbs & Soell, a public relations firm, as their Human Resources Director. Sonia is a graduate of Pace University with a BA in psychology, with a focus in industrial and organizational psychology
