Brishen Rogers

Fellow

As a fellow at Roosevelt Forward, Brishen Rogers focuses on how labor market policies can mitigate inequalities on the basis of class, race, gender, and citizenship.

Brishen Rogers studies the law and political economy of work. He is currently completing a monograph, under contract with MIT University Press, on how companies are using new data-driven technologies to reshape work and work regulation. He has also written extensively on potential reforms to collective bargaining laws, wage and hour laws, and legal definitions of employment.

Rogers received his JD cum laude from Harvard Law School in 2006, and his BA, with high distinction, from the University of Virginia in 1998. He worked in the labor movement as a strategic campaigner before law school, and as an attorney after law school.
