Lauren Karagianis is the Development and Communications Associate for the FDR Library and Museum. She grew up in the Hudson Valley, attending school in Pine Plains. After graduation, she ventured off to Keene State College in New Hampshire and immediately fell in love with the field of Communication. From there she transferred to Western Connecticut State University in Danbury, and then again, ending up back in the Hudson Valley at Marist College. She returned home with an entirely new appreciation for the Hudson Valley. She graduated with a Communications Studies concentration from Marist in 2016. She recently completed an internship at the Staatsburgh State Historic Site (Mills Mansion) and discovered a love of the local historic culture, which led her to the FDR Library.
