As the Senior Vice President of Operations, Cam is leading new organization-wide efforts to build organizational capacity and streamline systems and processes.


As the SVP of Operations, Cam is leading new organization-wide efforts to build organizational capacity and streamline systems and processes. Developed and implemented in close partnership with human resources, Roosevelt’s organizational development initiatives focus on enhancing internal communications, advancing career development for all team members, and putting the organization’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion into practice. Cam also manages Roosevelt’s operations team and advises on budgetary decision-making. Prior to taking on the operations role, Cam led Roosevelt’s development team for six years, helping the organization double its annual fundraising during that time. 

Cam draws on more than 15 years of experience with social justice and civic engagement nonprofits, including State Voices and Center for Working Families. Cam was selected as a 2019 92Y Women inPower Fellow, a fellowship for rising women leaders in NYC. Outside of her work with the Roosevelt Institute, Cam is also a writer: Her fiction has appeared in CALYX Journal and Cream City Review and her nonfiction in Voices of a New Generation: A Feminist Anthology. She is a co-curator of the Guerrilla Lit Reading Series in NYC, and holds an MFA from the New School and a BA, with a concentration in writing and social justice, from Western Washington University.
