Maya Wiley is a Roosevelt Fellow, as well as the Senior Vice President for Social Justice and the Milano School’s Henry Cohen Professor of Urban Policy and Management. She also serves as Chair of the New York City Civilian Complaint Review Board. She previously served as Counsel to Mayor de Blasio. While working at City Hall, she oversaw the city’s expansion of a municipal broadband network to public housing residents, as well as civil and human rights.

She received her JD at Columbia University School of Law and a BA in Psychology from Dartmouth College.
