John Sturm is a Research Associate at the Roosevelt Institute. He conducts empirical analyses for reports on market power and financialization, and he plays a supporting role on the programs team. Only a part-time Roosevelter, John also works on economic theory at Columbia University, as a research assistant to Roosevelt’s Chief Economist Joseph Stiglitz. Before joining Roosevelt, John completed an MPhil in economics at the University of Cambridge. He also holds a BA from Harvard in physics and mathematics.
