Aman Banerji is a Senior Program Associate at the Roosevelt Institute. In his role, Aman works with a host of Roosevelt policy projects across the nation and seeks to strengthen the Network’s policy work by leading the national cohort of Policy Coordinators and Emerging Fellows. Through the Network’s Blueprint series and Financialization project, he supports Roosevelt’s core mission of rewriting the rules of our economy and democracy. His academic and professional experience has largely been focused on structural and institutional inequality. His policy interests include incarceration, civil rights and economic justice in the United States. Prior to joining Roosevelt, he served in advocacy organizations and foundations in both the United States and India, including the Ford Foundation and the Drug Policy Alliance. Aman has a BA with a concentration in Economics and International Development from Sarah Lawrence College in New York.
